Data Deletion
Last updated: August 1, 2026
You control the data PostTrack holds about you. This page explains how to disconnect an advertising account and how to have your PostTrack account and all data associated with it deleted.
1. What gets deleted
- your PostTrack account profile and login credentials;
- the OAuth access tokens issued by TikTok and Meta, and the record of the connected advertising accounts;
- data cached from the TikTok Marketing API and the Facebook Marketing API — campaign structure, statistics, and creative, pixel and application metadata;
- your saved settings, automation rules, campaign templates and reports.
2. How to request deletion
Option 1 — disconnect an account in PostTrack
Go to “Profile” → “Integrations” and disconnect the advertising account. The access tokens for that account are deleted immediately and we stop requesting data for it. Data cached for that connection is deleted within 30 days.
Option 2 — revoke access on the platform
You can revoke PostTrack’s access directly on the advertising platform at any time:
- TikTok: TikTok Business Center → “Users” / “Authorized partners”, or the app authorization settings of your TikTok for Business account.
- Meta: Facebook “Settings” → “Business Integrations” (or “Security and Login” → “Apps and Websites”).
After access is revoked the Platform can no longer read data from those accounts, and the stored tokens become invalid and are removed.
Option 3 — delete the whole account
Send a request to support@posttrack.io with the subject “Data Deletion”, from the email address of your PostTrack account. We confirm the request, delete the account and all associated data within 30 days, and write back when it is done.
3. Timing
Access tokens are deleted immediately on disconnection. All other associated data is deleted within 30 days of the request. Deleted data cannot be restored. Anonymized technical logs may be retained for a limited period for security and legal-compliance purposes.
